Autoriv A210 Modular C-Frame Fastener Setting System
The Autoriv 210 is a stand-alone manual workstation that can automatically feed and set the fastener. The A210 can be configured to feed and place various clinch or pierce type nuts or studs.

The Autoriv 210’s modular design allows for a quick changeover when installing different sizes or types of fasteners. The changeover kit consists of out-of-die upper tooling with a punch head, die button, vibrating bowl and fastener separation unit. The change over normally can be completed within 10-15 minutes, reducing machine down time and optimizing the return on investment. For further reduction of change over time multiple bowls can be pre equipped.

Autoriv A230 Portable Manual or Robot Mounted C-Frame Fastener Setting System
The Autoriv A230 is small compact C-frame designed to be hung from a balancer or mounted on a robot. This system can be configured without controls but with a Profibus and Devicenet connector so the same controller for the cell can control the A230 and save cost.

Autoriv A240 Stationary Robotic Cell C-Frame Fastener Setting System
The Autoriv A24 0 is a stationary C-frame setting system that is designed to be incorporated into a robotic cell. This system consists of three main elements. The C-frame, a separate feeder that can be placed outside the cell for easy filling, and a patented tolerance take up system to ensure that part being installed is accurately place in the assembly.

Autoriv A220 CNC Fastener Setting System
The Autoriv A220 Is a highly flexible CNC placing system that is designed to set up to 4 different fasteners in one assembly without a tool change at programmable positions. This machine is preferred for large and heavy sheets 2200mm x 1200mm and 60Kg. Automated program transfer from CNC punch presses make programming this machine easy. Automated sheet loaders are available to ease loading of the A220. The A220 suitable for small lot processing.

Autoriv A250
Automation designed to set a fixed number of fasteners simultaneously to achieve faster cycle times then on A230 or A240 machines. Fasteners can be set at different angles and in undercuts. Picture shows an example of and A250 that sets 6 nuts and 2 studs in one hit. The A250 can also be used in robotic cells.

Hand tools

These hand tools are designed to feed and set a variety of j-nut type fastener and metal clips. The hand tools are designed to use a magazine feed system that makes the tool lighter and easier to handle, decreasing operator fatigue. Reloading of the tool can be done using an automatic magazine loader stationed near the operator.

Auto feed hand tools are also available that are designed to be hung from a tool balancer.

Bench Top Tools

The bench top systems automatically feed the J-nut to a specially designed nose piece to aid the operator in positioning the J-nut in the part. These systems are best for small sheet metal parts that the operator can easily handle.

This system can also be adapted to mount on a robot allowing the robot to set large volumes of fasteners.
